Tresco Abbey Gardens entrance. Tresco is the second largest of the isles of Scilly. These photos were taken in June 2004, and the weather was absolutely fabulous, as you will see from the blue skies. |

Protea. This huge Protea is a native of South Africa. It is so beautiful, that I could not stop photographing it!! |

There's so much to enjoy at these gardens. Admission to the gardens was £8-50 each.(2004) You need to spend most of the day here, if you want to see all of the areas. There is a nice little cafe, which did not charge rip off prices. By the cafe, is a gift shop, where there are also some plants for sale.

In the grounds of Tresco Abbey gardens. The famous Tresco Abbey Gardens are so beautiful, and I was in my element photographing all the exotic flowers. The climate is ideal for these plants, as the islands rarely have any frost or snow. |
