Dip 'n Daub is an abstract art generator for Windows. One click of a button, and the program will paint a picture for you. But you can also have greater control over the order in which pictures are created.
There is a lot of randomness in Dip 'n Daub, and the chances of you ever getting an exact repeat of any picture are exceedingly slim.
I have been creating graphics software for quite a few years now. Dip 'n Daub is the latest effort, based on earlier efforts with new routines added.
I wrote Dip 'n Daub for fame and fortune. As it is a rather specialised piece of software, I don't expect fame. As for fortune, I am giving Dip 'n Daub away, so there's no chance of that. either.
But I have enjoyed putting it together, and enjoy using it. Perhaps you might enjoy it, too.
Dip 'n Daub can be used simply as a recreational piece of software - see what sort of hash it makes of painting an abstract, or be amazed at what it has produced. You might find some of the pictures an inspiration to painting your own pictures. I also use the resulting 'paintings' on greetings cards, and on CD covers. They could be used as backings for a variety of purposes.
