4. Staying on the ears layer, use the retouch tool at the same setting, give the ears the ears some shading. 

5. Click on the face layer to make active, change the background colour to black. Create a new vector layer named eye, with the presets shape tool draw an eclipse, antialias and vector checked. Draw an eye shape that pleases you, maybe rotating it slightly. When you are happy with the shape convert to raster.

To make another eye you can repeat the above step or you can duplicate the first eye, image/mirror and move it so that you are happy with it's placement. When you have both eyes on raster layers, effects/3D effects/inner bevel at the setting shown, apply to both eyes.

6. Click the muzzle layer to make active. Create a new vector layer named nose, with the preset shapes tool, antialias and vector checked, draw an ellipse. Rotate it slightly until the angle of the nose is correct,  convert to raster layer. Go to image/effects/inner bevel and use the settings as for the eyes.

7. Set the foreground colour to black, null the background. Create a new layer named mouth, using the draw tool with these settings, draw the mouth.

 Merge layers visible, rename face.
