4. Go to
your layer palette and open a new layer calling it body. Now click on
layer 3 to make it active.

Using the flood
fill tool,
set your foreground to #F0E890 and background to #6F5F20. With your selection tool, rectangle draw an area around
your shape then click on it to get the marching ants. Now go to your layer
palette and click on the body layer to make it active. Choose your flood
fill tool, linear gradient, foreground/background, angle 90, repeats 1 and
flood fill the selection.

Selections/defloat. In the layer palette click the body layer to make
active, selections/float, you must remember to float the body layer
otherwise when you apply the cutout your gold body will disappear. Go to
effects/3D effects/cutout and
use these settings, vertical -4, horizontal 4, Opacity 80, Blur 60, colour
black, fill with interior colour unchecked. Selections/select none
6. In your layer palette
create a new layer
calling it detail. Use the drawing tool, bezier curve, width
6, antialias checked, vector unchecked, foreground white, background
nulled. We are now going to draw in some
detail. Start your bezier curve as near to the top centre as you can, it
doesn't matter if you start outside of the selection as we will tidy this
up later. Starting at the top draw down a straight line to the bottom,
make a note of the first number at the bottom of your screen so that you can space the
bars out evenly. Now click inside the line twice as this line is not going
to curve.
