4. Go to your layer palette and open a new layer calling it body. Now click on layer 3 to make it active.

Using the flood fill tool, set your foreground to #F0E890 and background to #6F5F20. With your selection tool, rectangle draw an area around your shape then click on it to get the marching ants. Now go to your layer palette and click on the body layer to make it active. Choose your flood fill tool, linear gradient, foreground/background, angle 90, repeats 1 and flood fill the selection.

5. Selections/defloat. In the layer palette click the body layer to make active, selections/float, you must remember to float the body layer otherwise when you apply the cutout your gold body will disappear. Go to effects/3D effects/cutout and use these settings, vertical -4, horizontal 4, Opacity 80, Blur 60, colour black, fill with interior colour unchecked. Selections/select none

6. In your layer palette create a new layer calling it detail. Use the drawing tool, bezier curve, width 6, antialias checked, vector unchecked, foreground white, background nulled. We are now going to draw in some detail. Start your bezier curve as near to the top centre as you can, it doesn't matter if you start outside of the selection as we will tidy this up later. Starting at the top draw down a straight line to the bottom, make a note of the first number at the bottom of your screen so that you can space the bars out evenly. Now click inside the line twice as this line is not going to curve.
