8. We will now draw an eclipse, vector unchecked, for the
bobble. So create a new layer, name it bobble, and set your foreground to
white. Draw an eclipse, with the selection tool draw around it and click
to select then apply the FibreOptix bobble preset. Selections/none.
9. So you thought the hat was hard we've now got to do the
antlers, unless you want to download
mine, I've made a tube. If not then here we go. With the shape tool,
vector selected draw an eclipse and then edit and add nodes, and maybe
rotate a tad. When you are happy with the shape convert to raster layer
and with the selection tool draw around the antler and click to select and
apply the FibreOptix antler preset. Selections/none.

Now go to image/effects/inner bevel and use these
settings.
Now duplicate the antler layer and go to image/mirror then
drag it down so that it is beneath the hat layer. if it makes things
easier for you, you can name these layers antler left and antler right but
we are nearly done now, phew, gasp.
10. Now for the ears. With the shapes tool, vector
checked, draw an eclipse and yes, you got it, edit the nodes to make an
ear shape. When you are happy with the shape get the selection tool, draw
around the ear and click to select then apply the FibreOptix fur preset.
Selections/none. Now you need to do the same again, only slightly smaller
for the inner ear. Only this time use the FibreOptix ear preset.

Go to the layer palette and, by clicking on the glasses,
make it so that only the 2 ear layers are visible, merge layers visible
and duplicate the layer, then go to image/mirror. Click on the glasses
again so that all the layers are visible and move the ears until you are
happy with their positioning.
11. Nearly there :o) We'll now do the eye's. Make a new
layer, change the foreground colour to black, using the shapes tool draw a
small circle, yeah circle not eclipse :o) vector not checked. Go to
image/effects/inner bevel using these settings
Drag the layer down to below the merged layer but above
the shadow. Duplicate the eye layer and then move across.
Ok, we're very nearly done, all we need to do now is to
draw in the mouth. Click on the very top layer to make active and create a
new layer. Use the draw tool with the following settings

Now draw the mouth and voila!!!!!!

I hope you had fun and I hope you didn't pull out too much hair :o)
For a different look change the colour used when making
your shapes or chose a different lighting effect in FibreOptix and play
around with the settings. If you create a setting you like don't forget to
save the preset :o)
