On this page, I will announce the latest developments for my Dizzy Fan-games as well as giving you a few resources to help you make your own.
DizzyAGE
Alexandru Simion has created the really cool Dizzy Adventure Game Engine (DizzyAGE for short) that makes it simple for people to create their own Dizzy games. Seriously worth checking out!
GameMaker Dizzy action-library
This is a ready made Dizzy game engine for use with Game Maker. It can be used to simulate the classic Dizzy style of walking/jumping and also allows more complex Dizzy style behavior such as rolling across the ground and sinking through clouds. There is also a simple example to help you use the Library. Please read the installation documentation before using. The help files aren't too complete, so if you do run into trouble then feel free to contact me.

Jungleland Dizzy
Jungleland Dizzy is a project I started once upon a time when I was new to the Dizzy Community. Since then, my interest in the project has waned. I still would like to see the project completed and am working on it slowly but surely. The game engine has been recently recoded and is a lot easyer for me to work with. This has helped to speed up development, but don't expect anything soon.
Escape from Zaks' Castle
This game is a top-view maze game featuring Dizzy. Dizzy has been captured and sealed in Zaks' dungeon. You must help him escape.

Sprites
All sprites are animated GIF's unless otherwise stated. Bitmap strips of these sprites are available on request.
Old Style Sprites
Here is a zip containing sprites from the spectrum Dizzy games. The Yolkfolk are taken from Spellbound Dizzy (as you will be able to see when using Grand Dizzy). There are also a few miscellanious characters from the games such as the Armorog and Grenda the witch.

PC Style Sprites
Here is a zip containing sprites from Dizzy games on the PC. Included are sprites of Dizzy standing still, jumping up, and walking and jumping right. You will have to create sprites facing left (just reverse the right facing ones).
