DJ Yul   

Yul Munoz is from Cali,Colombia. He is in his 3rd year of studying architecture at  Westminster University
He has been buying music and collecting old Salsa & Cuban vinyls since an early age and thinks that nowadays salsa and artists are not as good as the ones from before. It is their good looks that takes them to the fame and not  their talent, that's why they are not popular for long. Something that has never and will never happen to the old days bands and singers, He wishes people were more interested in listening to the old tracks.

He also thinks that it is quite important for people not only to dance salsa, but also to know about it and try to understand it. He didn't intend becoming a DJ, and was only interesting in buying and collecting music until a friend suggested to do so. The first opportunity to play was at Salsa Fusion over five years ago. He has been working for them since.


Likes reading and doing research about bands and artists, and reading about revolution, buying music and meet up with friends to listen and discuss about music accompanied of a very nice glass of Rum Havana Club 7 years.
