Angel
Angel is a Greek word meaning messenger. Heavenly beings who send messages between the Deity and humankind. An entity without a physical body which helps and assists in one's physical and spiritual journey. Also believed by some to be an existence following death.

Angel Hierarchy
A traditional hierarchy of angels is ranked from lowest to highest into the following nine orders: angels, archangels, principalities, powers, virtues, dominions, thrones, cherubim, and seraphim.  The titles given to these orders may vary. Pseudo-Dionysius grouped them into three choirs and labelled them as follows, in
order of descending rank

• Seraphim (bearers of heat)           
  Cherubim (bearers of knowledge)       
  Thrones (interpreters of God)       
  

• Dominations (regulators of angels, and governors of the physical world)
  Virtues (providers of inspiration)
  Powers (fighters against darkness)
  
  

• Principalities (overseers of human destiny)
  Archangels (liasing between God and humankind)
  Angels (messengers to humankind).

Angel, Holy Guardian

An expression that means your higher self to some, which is a more knowledgeable seperate entity.
Also believed  to be an angel who watches over you and protects you from harm..

Angel Lore
Folk Tales or an accounting and telling of people’s first hand experience with angels. Includes visions,
rescues, messages, divine energy, guidance, and any encounter viewed as being angelic in nature.

Angel Magick
An ancient art of summoning and communicating with angelic beings.There is a belief that certain words , especially the real name of God, have the power to constrain Angels to obey the will of the Angel Magus,
The practise is based upon the Hebrew Cabala . Seeks to control and command rather than an ethical
appreciation of angels, and is not to be confused with Angelology. Angel Magick is not seen as a good
thing.  There is a set of formal rituals that contains five basic steps of ritual magick:

Consecration The Magus builds a temple in which to practise the magical ceremony. Usually a magical circle marked with holy names or objects.

Invocation The Magus offers a prayer to the highest level of the Godhead, raising his or her consciousness.

Conjuration The Magus uses a combinationof divine names, magical weaponry and offerings of incense to cause the Angel to appear.

Conversation Once the Angel has appeared, the Magus describes and records what the Angel does and says.

Dismissal The Angel Magus dismesses the Angel from the area or sets it to perform a cerain task.

Note: I would say and believe that true "Angel Magick" is that which we carry in our hearts

Angel Magus
Also referred to as an Angel Magi A person who practises Angel Magic, who is more interested in controlling angels and reaching a particular outcome rather than an ethical appreciation of angels.

Angel of Mons
The name given to the angel who appeared over the battlefield of Mons where men lay dying. All of them claimed to have seen the angel.
Some believe it was a "thought form" or manifestation of collective energy.

Angel(s) Neutral
According to Eurpoean Folk Lore Angels that remained neutral during the war between God and Satan,.
These are the fairies, , the spirits of the woods and fields.

Angel(s) Planetary
From medieval grimoires: Mudge represents the sun, Nin-gelal, the moon, Nin-dar represents Jupiter,
and Tiskhu, Venus.

Angel Therapy
Angel therapy is a type of New Age Therapy based on the notion that communicating with angels is the key to healing. Angel therapists believe they facilitate healing by helping their patients get in touch with angels who will guide the patient in the right direction.

Angel Work
It is universally accepted that in all its forms and in all different languages the word for angel translates into "Messenger of God" . Traditional sources reveal angels have many functions and purposes other than being a messenger .The works attributed to angels inlcude guardenship, rescuers, guides, providing answers to prayers, offering encouragement, carrying souls to heaven when they die, observing and monitoring human behavior, and as protectors of places of worship.

Angelic Healing:
Any form of channeling, intercessory prayer, meditation, or visualization that purportedly involves
the therapeutic assistance of angels. Its postulate is that angels will guide, protect, and heal people.

Angelic Keys
a presentation of angel conjurations they are simple statements of power and office of the spirits and contain a request that they appear. A key to understanding and translating the Angel language and all things associated with angels and their powers. Presented to John Dee who claimed to be an Angel Magi.
