I thought that I could love you and still protect my heart

that somehow I could love you and still remain apart

I never counted on feeling the love thats in your soul

Or how the act of loving would make us both feel whole

But when you came to me, I didnt turn away

I hungered for your touch, the things you had to say

When we are together I feel our souls entwine

When we are together I know your heart is mine.

When you reach out to  me there is nothing I can do

I feel my soul overflowing with the love I feel for you

Loving you is something I do without regret

The times we've spent together I never will forget

The sense of wonderment with  which I face each day

Loving you with all my heart, wanting you this way.

I think of you each morning as soon as I awake

You walk beside me with every move I make

I dont feel I have a choice, and this just had to  be

Nothing ever felt as right as the love you have for me

My heart is heavy now, I'm  aching for your touch

I never thought that I would ever love this much ...

But everyday I'm thankful that for all the things you do

because you're loving me as much as I am loving you
