your energy surrounds me
naked, vulnerable ..

stripped willingly..
of the courage

with which I face the day
the strength

with which I face the world
I give you control and sleep

secure with your strength
your love .

When I look at you
when you look at me

your eyes tell me secrets
your heart would keep

from feeling
tucked away, safe inside

your lips carry a message
you cannot speak

pressed against mine
they tell me everything
