Stadium: Please note that the stadium is 8 miles east of Liege, at a place called Seraing. Follow the signs to there, not to the centre of Liege itself. (I.E. Don't do what we did!).

When we did eventually find the stadium though, we were not overly impressed. The setting is horrible (in amongst factories) and the stadium itself looked kinda forsaken (apologies to Standard fans!). It didn't help that the man at the gate wouldn't let us park! Well, it's understandable that there are security measures being taken - but it had taken us literally hours to find the darned place! It appeared too that they were still installing seats!! Once in Seraing, by the way, the sign-posting is good, but it is non-existent in Liege.

Liege: We saw an awful lot of it! It seems very pleasant; the river is very nice. We stayed at the Campanile on the edge of town, and ate there - so I really have not much idea about restaurants.
