Activities

Colorado is ideal if you want to enjoy the great outdoors either from the comfort of your car or in your hiking boots. 

Redstone is a tiny mountain town set in a beautiful location on the Crystal River where most activities relate to the great outdoors. Fishing, walking, hiking, biking and horse riding are a few of the physical activities on offer. In addition, there is one of Colorado’s very own “Castles” called Redstone Castle which has a very interesting history.

 

Not only is Redstone itself in a beautiful location, but it is situated only 45 minutes from the world famous Aspen (providing lots of shopping). With the “wedding” in the end of September, one of the main attractions may be the changing of the Aspen leaves in the mountains... which is quite amazing. 

 

In addition to the local activities, there are plenty more within a few hours drive such as:

·                 Gunnison gorge national park

·                 Glenwood hot springs

·                 Independence Pass (drive carefully)
