Quick update:
My locs have been growing like crazy over the last year.
My routine is wash when I feel right, usually every 2-3 days or so.
It hasn't really changed all that much since last year - I'm no longer too fussed about them... for me they are freedom. No hassle at all.
I think the focus has shifted. I've been working more and more with my work than ever before... its great!
One thing that might be changing is that I have had my locs out constantly for the last year, before that my locs were under-cover most times...
For spiritual reasons, I have decided to go back to wearing headwraps for some time and keep my crown underwraps.
I found a wonderful shop that does headwraps:
... Bought a few as my old wraps are now far too small for my locs.
