Darkspace : Malice, yet another work about the United Galactic Trade Organization and its inner secrets. As Grand Chancellor Dobry Mato resigns from the UGTO political scene, his successor, Enrico Jouler, steps up to replace him.
Immediately he institutes a series of broad reforms, aimed at boosting the UGTO's strength, and wiping out the ICC, who are gaining considerable advantage over the K'luth and are pressing forward...

As religious heresy plagues the K'luth Empire, the days of victory are at an end. But things are going wrong in the UGTO and ICC as well. A civil war has erupted from within the UGTO, and a treacherous ICC commander threatens to destroy the ICC.
The galaxy is thrown into chaos as yet another galaxywide battle erupts. Which faction will be the winner?

Selvarian has stepped down as the Community Manager and moved into a full time developement role. We express our many thanks for his dedicated service and leadership. Selv is looking forward to actually getting some time to play with his new found freedom.

A few changes have happened with the DarkSpace web server...
Firstly, we've been forced to place bandwidth restrictions on our web server to limit the amount of bandwidth being used. We've also added a new module to compress the web pages, also in an effort to reduce bandwidth usage. Lastly, we have moved our web pages to a faster machine. This may cause some people to experience problems with downloading the client, as it takes a few hours for the DNS changes to propagate through the Internet.

Continuing where First Contact left off, Darkspace : Exathra chronicles the invasion of the K'luth into human space.
As the massive UGTO Fleet defeats the ICC in battle after battle, a contigency plan is hatched by the ICC commanders at Exathra. A plan to wipe the UGTO out, a plan for total reversal of the fortunes of the war.
But their time is running out. The UGTO juggernaut is already on their doorstep. The invasion of CD*36 has already begun.
The UGTO fall into panic when contact with the system of Barnard's Star is lost completely. Suspecting something, a portion of the UGTO fleet is removed to investigate.
Fearing the worst, UGTO Admirals abandon the ICC campaign and set up a defence at the Delta Cephid system. It holds a key artifact, an artifact that will decide the entire fate of the war...

As the UGTO Fleet sweeps towards CD*36, the K'luth hatch a more sinister plan to defeat the unwary UGTO.
Three Colony Wars are waged against the UGTO when the K'luth step up their plans. Millions of civillians die at the hands of the aliens' bioweaponary.
But the final battle will be fought at a central UGTO System: Delta Cephid. It contains an ancient artifact powerful enough to change the course of the war forever...

Exathra has been started today, 1 Feb 2003. The work is expected to be about as long as the Sol Trilogy.
Upcoming Work|
The Sol Trilogy II will take a significant amount of time to complete, with Exathra lagging behind expected release dates. An optimistic estimate for this fiction is April 2003.

Recently, the cover art for the upcoming Darkspace : Exathra has been released. The sequel to First Contact, it features the UGTO at war with the ICC. The K'luth have been discovered in the Sirius system by a UGTO Expeditionary Fleet, and a war is about to break loose across the galaxy...
