Count Lasher: Slide Mongoose/ Miss Constance - Caribou 105. One of reggae's most important antecedents was Mento, a popular local folk style, with links to Africa and to elsewhere in the Caribbean. Caribou seems to have been related to Melodisc in some way (see sticker).
