The Eagles second visit to Trelai this season. This
time conditions were very good and both teams didn't disappoint in serving
up an excellent competitive game.
The game remained scoreless for most of the
first half due to superb Eagle defending with Capitol putting in many
attacks. Towards the end of the first half a deep lying Capitol player was
allowed to move far too far with the ball and he eventually produced a good
shot which beat Will.
The second half saw the Eagles continue with
their high level of commitment and they were rewarded with an excellent
equaliser from....I think it was Owen...and..... corr he took it well!
The score remained at 1-1 until ten minutes from
the end when a lose pass set up a Capitol attack and advantage was duly
taken. Unfortunately two more goals were conceded in the next five minutes
and the game was lost. An excellent Niall strike towards the end saw the
lads bring the score back to 4-2.
