A frustrating afternoon was in prospect for the management as FAW committments, injury, illness and no information on players meant that the Eagles were going to struggle for numbers!

In the event just ten lads took the field to represent the Eagles with an eleventh injured colleague having to watch on the side to help take the photos!

A sterling back to the wall performance saw the Eagles compete well until the last ten minutes when the pressure finally told on a beleaguered defence. Well done to all the lads listed below for giving their all in difficult circumstances! Special mention goes to Dave who manfully dealt with attack after attack with full commitment. A good show by Will also helped keep Fairwater at bay...especially the familiar looking number 15!

Next week sees the lads play an away match! A welcome rest in store from putting up and taking down nets....and Dermot will be able to watch a game for a change!
