The last match before November! The very poor weather conditions in the days before the match meant it was a bit of a surprise that the game went ahead. Both teams were going to have to cope with a very variable playing surface with parts extremely wet and boggy. As befits their league position, Whitchurch showed good control but were made to work hard by a fine display from the Eagles. Some unlucky events in attack meant the lads failed to score before half time but the second half saw the goal of the season from Joey who played magnificently all game, giving the Whitchurch defenders a very difficult time. At 4-2 going into the last quarter the lads looked like they might at least get something out of the game but towards the end the lads found things difficult and a number of chances were presented to the Whitchurch attack and advantage was duly taken.
