WHATLEY BIZARRE 'CHESS' QUIP
During Dynamos superb 4-1 victory over Priory Inn came a bizarre shout from the Dynamos half. Skipper Jamie Whatley suddenly bellowed "Oh come on, I'm watching chess pieces". The game stopped as people tried to cope with the bizarre cliche. Investigations continue as to what it exactly meant and also to Whatley's mental state!

WELLS HITS HALF CENTURY
Dynamos striker, Jamie Wells, has reached 50 goals for the club. His turn and finish against Soberton FC in the 2-1 win was his 47th league goal for Dynamos, added to the 3 cup goals he already has that means he has netted 50 times. A marvellous acheivement by the speedy striker.

PLAYERS LEAVE CLUB
The following players have left the club recently, for various reasons. Martin Smith (retired), Phil Carter (left), Mark Brenson (left) and James Selfe (left). Dynamos were left qith the bare minimum players recently but new players have resigned: Rich Sneade and Jamie Wells.

DYNAMOS EQUAL CLUB RECORD
Dynamos recent 5 straight defeats equals the club record set 3 seasons agon in division 3. Dynamos 3 league and 2 cup defeats was down to the squad being decemated but it's a record they definetly will not want to equal again.

BARNARD AND HATTON RETURN
Skipper Alan Barnard and goalie Adam Hatton have both returned from long term injuries, Alan had a broken arm and Adam had damaged ankle ligaments. Both players returned from injury in the 8-0 win over GEMS FC, Adam coming through the full 90 minutes and Alan came on as a 2nd half substitute..

HAMPSHIRE CUP 3rd ROUND DRAW
Dynamos 3rd round Hampshire Junior Cup 'B' draw has seen them drawn at home against Portsmouth Sunday div 3 outfit, Service Master FC. The game will be played at Wicor Recreation Ground on Sunday 7th December where Dynamos will try and progress in this prestigious competition.

COLIN WEBSTER LEAVES CLUB
Superb midfielder and brother of Coach Webster, Colin Webster, has been forced to quit Dynamos. Colin has landed a job with Sony and subsequently has had to move to Middlesex meaning he can no longer play Sunday's. It's a massive gulf to fill but Dynamos have plenty of midfielders to give it a go. All the best to Colin in his new job.

HAMPSHIRE CUP 2ND ROUND DRAW
Dynamos 2nd round Hampshire Junior Cup 'B' draw has seen them drawn at home against Gosport & Fareham outfit, Elson FC. The game will be played at Wicor Recreation Ground on Sunday 2nd November where Dynamos will try and progress in this prestigious competition.

SKIPPER BARNARD BREAKS ARM
Influential skipper Alan Barnard has broken his arm playing cricket, Alan has broken his arm with just a week to go before the season starts. Webster quipped "It's a massive, massive blow to us. He's a rock in our defence and a huge influence". Alan is expected to be out until the end of October.

FOTHERINGHAM AGREES TERMS
Dynamos are pleased to confirm the signing of Hampshire League right back, Simon Fotheringham. 'Fothers' agreed terms after viewing the Dynamos training centre but was also swung largely by recommendations by winger Martin Smith. The fee is un-disclosed but Chairman Everitt was quoted: "He's strong and quick and will bolster the defence for the Div 2 adventure"

HAMPSHIRE CUP 2ND ROUND...ALREADY!
Dynamos are through to the 2nd round of the Hampshire Cup Junior 'B' Cup already thanks to the luck of the draw, Dynamos received a BYE by the Hants FA computer for the first round. The fact they have got through to the 2nd round is a new club record..without even playing! Dynamos are hoping for a choice tie in the 2nd round so they progress further!

DYNAMOS TOP OF DIVISION 2
Yes it's true, Dynamos are top of Division 2! Well..actually they are there due to alphabetical order but it doesn't matter..the league doesn't lie! Dynamos will try and remain top when they open up their account at home to FC Portchester on Sunday 7th September....here's to a good season!
