TO BELGRADO TOUR 2003
ECOWAR are back after their 2002 trip to
Australia.Playing new songs written on the desert
roads of the outback, this high powered hard rocking
duo will be heating up the crowds this winter.
ECOWAR have been playing since 1998, released 3 CD's
and a live tape and played all over europe from
holland to servia, spain to norway.
Their new CD " Defending the land" contains four fresh
new songs from Australia, plus live tracks recorded on
the radio and intervieuws with activists and the band
themselves.
Over the past 6 years of playing, the core members of
ECOWAR, James Brook on guitar & Ernie on drums have
brought an energetic, bright vibe to the underground
music scene with high powered political punk music
reminiscent of CRASS. Other performers have joined the
band along the way including a violinist, acrobats,
KATEYE film projections and in Australia, keyboards
and extra guitar. Audiences can hear classic punk
rock, bits of techno and folky elements in their
style. ECOWAR will be performing as a lean mean raw
rocking duo this season.
