you know how you read a newspaper, and you read about some robber being arrested, and you believe it? or any other piece of news, considering if you're reading a reputable newspaper, like the times, and not the daily sport (for non-uk people, it's a newspaper that features mainly porn, and the reason why i know this is becoz azli bought it and i unknowingly read it). well, the same principle applies with jesus. the Bible is kinda like a newspaper, with people who knew Him, saw Him, saw Him after He had died on the cross, and are trying to tell everyone that they have seen God in the flesh. and it also has people who haven't met Him before, didn't know about Him, but reported on the things that God had revealed beforehand, which builds up to jesus. i often meet people who question me on my faith, that if God really did love us, why doesn't He do anything? well, jesus came, didn't He? then there are some people who ask me, if God loves us so much, why is there still so much suffering? i'll admit sometimes it's puzzling that there is so much pain and suffering, and i usually ask that question when i'm the one going through it. but i'll also be the first to admit that most of the problems don't come from Him, but becoz of the things that i've done or the things other people have done. it's like this, e-mails were created so that people could keep connected with other people in sending mails and receiving mails in a very fast, easy and convenient manner. but there will be irritating people who send stupid chain mails or those who are techy enough, create viruses that causes havoc. i have a dear friend who is traumatised by that and she is so afraid of the word virus now. bless her. the point is that, the application was created and introduced to the world for a very noble purpose, and people had the rite to use it anyway they saw fit. there will be people like me who uses it for the most commendable reasons, but there will be people who misuse. we don't like it, but we can't stop it simply by telling them it's wrong and so they should stop. they have to be the ones to decide for themselves not to irritate other people. it's not the best illustration, but when God gave us our lives, we are the ones who are usually making the decisions that can be both good and bad. sometimes we blame Him too much when things start to go wrong.
