1999-2001. Work Experience [Lottery funded]: Supervised by Larry Stevenson: British Olympic Junior Women's Judo Coach. Covering most aspect of Sports Management, Sports Psychology and Instructor led studio and gym exercise activities.

SPORTING ACHIEVEMENTS:

• March 2002. Rivermead Leisure Centre, Reading . Rowed a televised half marathon against the clock of runners, running the half marathon, my 2nd place time was 85mins.
• October 2001. Norte Dame, Paris: 1st place 500m Concept 2 race which included members from the French and Italian Olympic squads.
• This race resulted in a reduction in the then world record of 1:7.3 seconds with a winning time of 1:22.1 seconds.  This time has now been improved to a time of 1.19.9 and ranks me officially as Concept 2 No 1 in the UK [April 2002] for the 500m sprint event and No 6 in the world for this distance.
• March 2001. Rivermead Leisure Centre, Reading . Raised £1500 in the 2001 Red Nose Day row by rowing 60,000m in 4.5 hours.
• November 2000. Rivermead Leisure Centre, Reading . British Indoor Rowing Competition. 6th place in 2000m race in my division.
• February 2000 and April 2000. Won the individual closed championships in the Reading League Division in Table Tennis, Badminton and also Squash, a treble that I have been chasing since 1985.

PERSONAL INTEREST:  My personality lends me to be a very secure, confident and sociable person, one who enjoys sharing information and learning from others. I have a particular interest in the psychology of personal development and a keen creative and social interest in photography, computers, car audio, performing arts, music and cookery.

I retain a level of fitness that takes up about 14 -28 hours of my professional and social time each week and includes competitive squash, badminton and table tennis. I have a strong interest in Indoor Rowing Championships, my current goal is to race the 2000m in a major competition in under 6 mins. I have raced in all of the C2 major rowing distances including the marathon and this is documented in the Concept 2 2001 year book.

1995-1999. Audio Designer: Absolute Musical Gems, Reading , Berkshire . [Contract] 
A knowledge of audio design software, presentation graphics, business development, accountancy and using specialised audio electronic equipment was paramount in this design post.

1991-1995. Software/Applications Trainer: Pieces of a Dream, Reading , Berkshire . [Contract]
Responsible for creating and delivering Window based on-site classroom training modules to include the teaching of desktop publishing, multimedia and graphic presentation, word processing, spreadsheets, database and introductions to the Internet.

1986-1991. Lecturer in Social and Visual Communication:  Berkshire County Council Education Dept.
Working in local adult education centres teaching social and visual communication skills. My job included designing complete training courses and training programs from basic to advance and for a wide age and ability ranges.

1985-1986. Voluntary: Project Contract, Reading .
Acting as a positive force in helping young adults move away from drugs and alcohol abuse by developing their social skills and self esteem factor through a series of established self help workshops.

1980-1981. Weights and Measure Trainee: Berkshire County Council, Trading Standards Dept.  
Learning and implementation of the 1964 Weights And Measure Act in shops, petrol stations, schools, licensed premises, and in any area where goods are sold by any form of weights or measure.

1977-1980. Community Play Scheme Worker: Reading Borough Council Recreation Dept. P/T.  
Organising and leading young adult based recreational activity. Supervision over other co-workers and managed a project center within controlled and set budget.
