15th October 2002.

Well it was third time lucky for me in more ways than one when I paid the utterly fabulous Jodie a visit on this sunny Tuesday morning. I had tried to see Jodie twice before and circumstances had prevented me from keeping my appointments.

The first time my wonderful train failed to turn up, and I, and several people were left standing on a platform for 90 minutes, without being told anything. Although I got to London, it was too late to meet Jodie again, before her next client. The second time I was due to go to Trans-Mission with some other Boudoir girls, and personal circumstance which I won’t go into here meant I returned home before I even got near the Boudoir.

Now you would have thought that Jodie would think twice before agreeing to see me again, wouldn’t you? Well it was what I thought, but I was wrong. Jodie is an amazing girl, and was extremely understanding. She not only understood, but was also very supportive in what was quite a difficult time for me, and this is one of the many things that makes her so special. So yet again I made another appointment to see her. This time I said that not even meteors, hail, and floods would prevent me from getting to the Boudoir!

Ahh floods. I shouldn’t really have said that should I? Why didn’t I say meteors, hail, and George Clooney? 6.00am Tuesday morning I pulled back my curtains to be met with rain pouring down and winds a blowing. It was dark, it was cold, and it was soo wet. Great. I could see it now, my train delayed because of flooding on the tracks; or failing that a leaf. Anyways I got myself ready, and headed off to the station. Surprisingly I got there very easily. So easily in fact, that I had an hour to kill before I was due. So I thought that it would be a good idea to walk about in the rain (I’m full of bright ideas me) until it was a little bit more nearer the time. You know you should never really walk about in an area that you know nothing about? That just occurred to me, or at least it did when I got hopelessly lost with only 10 minutes to spare!

Don’t ask me how, but out of sheer luck more than anything else I managed to find the best dressing service in Britain (if not the world) in time. I knocked on the door, and Jodie opened it. Well it was like coming home. Suddenly I wasn’t wet, and I wasn’t cold, and I was with a friend.

It was so lovely to see her again, and for her to weave her magic on my ugly mug. If you have a look at the photos here (okay how many of you are reading this after you looked at the photos?!) you can see how well she did. All I will say is that once again she chose some gorgeous clothes that I fell in love with. A really great little denim skirt, and a slinky black top, and then the makeup. Wow! I almost cried when I saw myself in the mirror. Jodie you are amazing!!!

Well the good times were only just beginning. As Jodie was making me up, the equally fabulous Siobhan popped in for a quick visit. I had mentioned to her that I was seeing Jodie, but thought that she would be too busy to drop by. It was so great to see her, like Jodie she is such a good friend. She has been through so much, and yet has remained a tremendously upbeat and happy girl. She is a real inspiration to a great many people, and it was great to see her again.

Then the icing on the cake was to meet Tracie, another of the Boudoir team. She came back after accompanying a client out on a shopping trip, and is such a lovely, bubbly, beautiful girl. I am so pleased to have met her, and she treated me like a real friend, which I am sure that she does with all the Boudoir’s girls.

I chatted with all of the girls about various things, and the 4 hours flew by. It felt so good, and so normal, and I so did not want it to end. This was easily my best visit so far. Jodie, Siobhan, Tracie, and of course the most important person of all Spike, thankyou!!!
