First Night Out – Trans-Mission March 1st
Another historic day in the life of Emma. My first time on an evening out enfemme. Ever since I have had these feelings, ever since I was a very young child, I have dreamed of this day. To go out for an evening as Emma, to be able to enjoy myself without fear of being embarrassed or ridiculed, and now it was actually going to happen, and I couldn’t quite believe it...
Of course it should have happened earlier, but for personal reasons I had to call it off at quite literally the last moment. So, although I was looking forward to the night nervously, I wasn’t entirely sure that something wasn't going to go wrong. It was going to be quite an event. Trans-Mission, The UK Angels, and The Boudoir were all getting together for a special evening at Trans-Mission for those t-girls who were going to make their debut. The idea that I would not be the only one making my debut was reassuring, and after thinking about it, and my first aborted attempt, I thought that I would give it another go..
I contacted Jodie to find out that so many girls had booked with her that the only way she could fit me in was by seeing me at 1.00pm! That meant a whole day of being girly and feminine!! I would also be meeting some girls that previously, I had only communicated with via the wonder that is the internet. I knew that Jodie would perform her usual magic, but I needed a dress to wear. What to do!.
Well I am not confident enough to go girly clothes shopping, particularly on my own, so what could I do? I sort of cheated in a roundabout kind of way. I got a very nice Italian little black dress off Ebay for only £5.50! It’s a shame that I couldn’t get enough courage up to go into a shop, but it is a lovely little dress, and the sort of thing that I would have bought if I had gone into a high street store..
The night before that special day I received an email from Kim Angel saying that Jodie was doing the makeovers at a flat in East London, not at the Boudoir as I thought. Eek! What was I to do?! It was too late to phone Jodie, and she hadn’t replied to any of my emails, or phoned me so I thought that something must be wrong. The only thing I could do was set out as normal, and try to contact her when I got into London..
The day came, and I got up very early, as I had to travel to London via a train that would guarantee that I would not be late for Jodie. Considering that she had to do makeovers for 23 girls, I thought that she would not appreciate it if I was! Arriving at Euston I phoned Jodie to find out where it was I was supposed to go. She sounded relieved to hear from me, and to my horror I discovered that she and Tracy had been trying to contact me all week with no response. They had got no reply from either my email or my mobile phone. Ah the wonders of modern technology. Aint it marvelous?.
After an easy journey on the tube, I exited from the station, and promptly turned the wrong way! After walking in completely the wrong direction for about fifteen minutes I realized my mistake, turned round and headed off to the flat…. and promptly walked straight past the road where it was. By this time you may have gathered that my sense of direction isn’t brilliant, but somehow I still managed to turn around and eventually find the flat..
Ringing the bell, I was told to proceed up the stairs to the top floor. No there was no going back. I couldn’t run away and claim I didn’t find the place now. I got to the door, and rang the bell. No reply! “Oh no!” I thought to myself,” Don’t tell me I’ve got the wrong place again!” For those who haven’t read any of my previous adventures, firstly why didn’t you? Secondly you won’t know that on my first trip to the Boudoir I went to the wrong address! So you could see that I thought history was repeating itself. So I rang again. Waited…and then the lovely Tracy ( a good friend of Jodie’s who helps out at the Boudoir ) opened the door. At least I had gone to the right place!.
As I entered I saw a sort of controlled chaos. Jodie was already hard at work performing makeovers. Tracy and a really nice girl called Angie were running around seeing that those girls who were waiting were all okay, and Jodie’s mum, Maureen was cooking some very scrummy yummy food. Angie very kindly got me a cup of tea, and I sat somewhat knocked out by all that was going on around me. I had been terrified of meeting other girls who were bound to be more experienced than me, and wasn’t sure what they would make of little me, but although it was completely bonkers, there was a terrific atmosphere, and I felt at ease immediately..
Jodie did my makeover. I changed into my little dress, and then sat down in the lounge to wait for those others that were having their makeovers done. It was a really party atmosphere then, and I would have been happy just staying there for the evening, not that I wasn’t looking forward to the club. To top it all Siobhan rang Jodie, and I had the chance to speak with her. This meant a lot to me, and really made my day. We were all supplied with drinks and some really nice food. Spike ( Jodie’s gorgeous Siamese cat ) wandered about, not too sure what to make of it all, but obviously deciding that the apartment would be his. Later on Nas arrived. She is a great great girl. Not only stunningly beautiful, but a real lovely personality, very friendly, and just like Jodie and Tracy, puts you right at ease. Of course she gave me some lovely nails for the evening, and it was then that I was all set..
Later on, I think at about 10pm, the first group of Boudoir girls set out in the coach, whilst Jodie and her team were still doing makeovers!! So we got to Tran-Mission and got off the coach directly outside. The wonderful Vicky Valentine greeted us at once, took a photo, and ushered us into the club. As we entered, and, without sounding too melodramatic, I was overwhelmed by it all. I guess that it was a combination of things. For a start there were something like 200 girls there, a record for Trans-Mission I think, the music was playing, and I felt physically ill at it all. No no no I don’t mean like that at all. I am quite an emotional person, perhaps a little too emotional at times, and at that moment I found it all so amazing that I thought I was going to be sick..
The night went on, and a lovely girl called Suzie was kind enough to stay with me. I was very touched by this as we hadn’t known each other for long, but then that’s the quality of girls you get at the UK Angels. I also chatted away to the beautiful Antonia, the cute Emma Jensen, and the incredibly friendly and amazingly beautiful Kim Angel.. Eventually Jodie and the second group arrived, after working for something close to 12 hours of makeovers. Jodie introduced me to Davina, a friend who I had corresponded with for sometime, and it was great to finally meet her, and her charming wife Jackie..
I can’t really remember much more details of the club. Needless to say it all went by too quickly. I didn’t make it to the dance floor, due to nerves and a need to take it all in, but I certainly hope to next time, especially if they play Kylie again! The evening / night / morning ended with us all going back to the apartment and chatting for a while. It was here that I met the wonderful Jaynie and Melanie. These two girls were not only really really beautiful, but very very funny. Don’t Cry For Me Argentina will never be the same!.
So it was with great joy and great sadness that I headed back to Euston station on Sunday morning. It was an amazing day. One that I thought would never come, but now that it has, has left me eager to go out again..
For those of you that want to get out, and are worried, or nervous there really is no better way than going on a trip with the Boudoir. Whether it is to a very friendly club like Trans-Mission, or a theatre trip or whatever..
In alphabetical order I would like to thank the following for making it al so very special. : Angie, Antonia, Davina Daniels, Emma Jensen, Jackie, Jaynie, Jodie, Kim Angel, Maureen, Melanie Wexford, Nas, Siobhan Redmond, Suzie, and of course the star of it all… Mr. Spike Sparkles.!!!
