This site is dedicated to the Handley Page 57 Halifax hence 57 RESCUE
an excellent site run by Jill and Ian they collect data and photos
etc. to
form a database of info on Halifaxes and also deal with some wreck
sites
for possible recovery, excavation and restoration.
ESAR is also a member of 57 RESCUE
ESAR has recently joined NEEACR along with researchers from Yorkshire
to create Air Crash Investigation and Archaeology ACIA.
This is an excellent site run by Jim Corbett dedicated to crash site
in the
Northumberland and Scottish Borders area
Much information and photographs is to be found here including excavations
of
HAWKER HUNTER XG236
ESAR is one of the groups that took part in both excavations
This is the web site of The Scottish Museum of Flight
a good site with some solid information and links.
The Museum also holds an annual Festival of Flight and PFA Fly in
details of which can be found on the web site

This is the website run by Ernie Burton who has contributed greatly
to my site
with many photos and information.Take a look at his site for all

the Battle of Britain.This site also has a bookstore and chatline.

Bill Casey's homepage is an excellent site
to visit it has a
whole section dedicated to his Great Uncle
who was killed
in 1918 when he crashed into a fjord in Denmark
and was washed up on a beach.
He was then buried in Havrig, Denmark.
