The Parishes of Eskdaleside-cum-Ugglebarnby with Sneaton and Aislaby
Welcome to the webpages of the Parishes of Eskdaleside-cum-Ugglebarnby with Sneaton
and as at end of 2007 we were joined by the Parish of St. Margarets in Aislaby
Diocese of York , Church of England.
This website is continuously being updated as time permits so please bear with us as we work on it. The site was last updated at end 2007
This Parish is a combined benefice with additional responsibilities for Aislaby.
The two Churches of St John the Evangelist in Sleights and that of All Saints in Ugglebarnby serve the Parish of Eskdaleside-cum-Ugglebarnby.
The Church of St Hilda's in Sneaton serves the Parish of Sneaton and latterly the added Church of St Margarets serves the Parish of Aislaby.
We would very much like to invite visitors to join us at our Sunday morning, afternoon or evening services at one of the four Churches. You will find a link to the service times on the index to the left. (note this may not be up to date in view of the new Parish so check first on notice boards)
Also included in the links index is a page describing each Church including photographs and some historical detail although, again bear in mind that at present the sites are in a state of preparation.
We also have links to other aspects of the community in Sleights including Churches Together and other both ecclesiastic and not so ecclesiastic sites dealing with the local area in which we are so fortunate to live. Suggestions for additional features are welcome and if not too difficult for the web master they could be incorporated.
