I created these Angel Pets because I am concerned about the increasing number of animals that are being abandoned. Many of these animals die, and the only reason they die is because of the neglect and ignorance of the people who were supposed to care for them. I simply cannot understand someone who has no hesitation in dumping a puppy or kitten at the side of the road, or in rubbish bins, or worse. I cannot understand the person who allows their pet to have litter after litter, for whatever reason. There is no good reason to allow this. Your pet will not be more contented, and in fact, it may result in many pregnancy related health problems.
These animals who are abandoned have no means to fend for themselves. They are left to scavenge for scraps, fight for shelter, and in most cases they die a bewildered, hungry and lonely death.
Each of these Angel Pets represents one of those poor animals left to suffer... the cat that scratched the furniture one too many times, the puppy that out-grew it's cuteness, the rabbit or the guinea pig left to starve because it was no longer a novelty.
