Feb 25th, 2003: Not much to update here today. Finally got Photoshop so I can finish the CTF Beta with some cool textures
that I just couldn't make with Microsoft Paint. Yes, I've been making all my custom textures with MS Paint. So there. Make
do with whatcha got, and not I got Photoshop so it's back to work. Plus the new DM map REALLLLLLY needs some custom texture
work...
If anyone wants to read a very long rant on a mappers responsibility to their audience (mappers responsibility what? Huh?)

Feb 24th, 2003: Sorry for the lack of updates but (a) Dad's been in the hospital (he's doing great) and (B) I've been either
at work or working at home on new maps. THANKS TO EVERYONE who helped me get my name firmly entrenched in MapRaiders record
books. It will be there for a little while until someone comes out with something that'll kick the crap out of my map and
everyone will forget about it and I'll go back to being old and smelly.
The irony is DM-Obolus took me about an afternoon and some of one evening to do and it breaks the records. The maps I stuggled
over for weeks, no one noticed. Isn't it ironic, don't ya think?
I'll be putting up some new screenshots later of some new stuff...hopefully.

Feb 20th 2003: Uh. Took a sick day today. Up all nights with Da Poops and Da Pukes. Twas a bizzare ballet, switching off my
between my most hated positions positions at the toilet, The ThroneHugger and the Wet-Ass Splashies.
Fortunately, alcohol kills germs. Should be fine in no time...

Feb 19, 2003: Broke the record for most downloaded at MapRaider.com today! Thanks yet again to everyone who's been downloading
and trying out this map. I came up with something ABSOLUTELY FIENDISH for my next map. It may take a while, but it's certainly
going to fit the criteria for Very Farking Evil. I'll be using the Zen-coder weapons pack with the Benelli Shotgun and the
MP5 right out of the gate. I'm actually going to start work on it in a little while.

Feb 18th, 2003: HEY! I THINK WE GOT ENOUGH SNOW, DON'T YOU?
That's what I thought.

Well, EvilVey's map crashed Mapraider.com today. Too many hits. A small part of me feels really bad. A large part of me laughs
like the Joker after being thrown into Arkham Asylum. And I'm talking Killing Joke/Arkham Asylum Joker...not that watered
down TV crap. My map crashed a website. The power is phenomenal. Nearly godlike. Soon the world will fall to it's knees before
me.
If I was on Survivor, I think I'd just kill the other Survivors. What are they gonna do, call the cops? You're on an island
in the middle of nowhere. Dial 911 on your SAT-COMM while I shove a bamboo stake through your heart? Good luck.
No more drinking before updating the website. Really. I promise this time. |
Feb 17th, 2003: First off, hi to everyone from MapRaider and BeyondUnreal! My hit's have skyrocketed in the last 3 days (if
you call 200 hits 'skyrocketing') and I know it's not my parents checking up on me. So thanks for the support and props from
everyone...it's greatly apprieciated. While you're here, go download DM-Reliquiary from the downloads page and take it for
a spin. I'm working on finishing up the CTF map as we speak. Gots to keep the momentum going...gots to make the peoples happy!
Second of all, I have no clue who Hacku is, but he seems to think he's me, or other people think he's me, or he's flat out
trying to take credit for DM-Obolus (although I think the latter is unlikely...no one's that foolish to mess with me...you
wouldn't like me when I'm angry) but just to clear the air, I AM NOT HACKU!

Feb 15th, 2003: F.B. just posted the news about DM-Obolus at www.mapraider.com, so traffic here should go through the roof.
And right after that, Heidi Klumm will show up at my front door in biker gear with a twelve pack of Bass Ale.
Anyway, just stole Frank's copy of Stapping Young Lad's new CD and it might just be the heaviest metal will ever get, ever.
Like, so totally ever. It's over. Everyone else can just pack it up and go home. Don't bother. Gene Hogland is still one of
the best metal drummers out there, and Devin Townsend is, well, Devin Townsend. Need I say more? |
