The Host Tower

Onwards to the Host Tower! Once you enter the tower, search the room to your left and find a letter and a key. You can read some interesting stuff… About Aribeth…

On the second floor search the rooms for the highest level portal stone and continue up to the pinnacle. The other floors you haven't explored can be also explored for more experience points or for treasure. There are a lot of items for mages/sorcerers on all of the floors and they might find it rewarding to snoop around all of the floors.

Anyway, once you get to the pinnacle, speak to the lich and destroy the four braziers. Once you destroy a brazier, a monster pops-out. The more braziers you destroy, the tougher the monsters appear. After freeing the lich, go up to the roof. On the roof, you will see a cut scene involving Aribeth's transformation into a blackguard. I knew she couldn't be trusted! The gate opens once the cut scene has been played. Finish off the lizard-men, search the roof for treasure and come back to Aarin. That's it! Chapter 2 is done.
