Neverwinter Nights Walkthrough
Peninsula District
Basically you have to go to the other end of the district, go to the prison, kill almost everyone there and kill a "boss". That's it. Of course you can run about and explore everything which is a very healthy thing to do because you will find some people hiding from monsters who can tell you an alternative way to prison. (Northeast side of the map). Also, there is one of the houses with a sundial for your Cloaktower mission. To get to the prison you may use the underground tunnels or get a key from a thug leader who is in the sewers/sewer system. (Tunnels are located in an estate north of prison entrance; sewers are marked as Sewer Access). If you wish to go to the underground, you need to talk to one of the servants (northeast). They tell you that there is a key under the mat. And if you want to kill thugs and go through the front door, go to the sewer system and get the key from a thug leader. In the Militia HQ you can get a reward for getting rid of prisoners. Near there is the tomb you need to visit if you accepted Oleff's quest. Once you get to the prison it's pretty straightforward. Free a guard, kill the prisoners, get a key or something like that and head downstairs. The NPCs in the prison tell you about the layout of the prison and what you need to do to get to a lower level.

Enemies to beware:
Gang leaders: these aren't that tough but might be if you are a spell caster and your henchman is also a spell caster or if you don't have a henchman at all. Wizards are the winners here because they should have Ghostly Visage which will absorb most if not all damage. Fighters should just attack them quickly. Nothing too hard here but being careful always helps.

Escaped sorcerers: these are my hated enemies because they can cast a Fireball spell. And it hurts. A lot. The best way is to bash them with everything you have and pay no attention to other enemies in the room. If they don't cast Fireball then you're saved. Protection form the elements helps in this situation. If you see him casting a Fireball, or any spell, try disrupting it.

Pre-Boss - Half-Orc: when you reach him, know that you are almost at the end of the quest. This guy has a double-axe that can chop you in seconds so beware. You should have enough healing potions to last until he gives up. Once he gives up you can do whatever you wish to him. The real "boss" is waiting for you downstairs. (I have SoU installed and he didn't attack me at all… Weird huh?)

Boss - Intellect Devourer: rated by most players as the most annoying "boss". Why? Because its "human" form deals enormous amounts of damage quickly and its normal form has damage reduction and can cast invisibility and some sort of a daze spell which will leave you dizzy and it will be free to attack you. To make this fight easier: first as you just enter the room, circle around talking and persuading the human guard "zombies" if you can't persuade one (unlikely, just try a few times) kill them. With all of the "zombies" gone, attack the head guard. Now he won't have bodies to take over. Once you finish off the human form, intellect devourer jumps out of the body and attacks you. It deals almost same amount of damage as in the "human" form, so beware. Thankfully it doesn't hit too often.

After you finally kill it, take the part of the cure (the brain) back to Aribeth. We have finished the most annoying district of them all. Rejoice. (Another funny thing happened. The devourer got stuck near a wall and it didn't do anything. Free kill.) Now Aribeth suggests you to go to Beggar's Nest. Onwards! Zombies are good…
