GAME RULES

The rules of the fantasy football league itself, including scoring and transfers are determined by premierleague.com, and NOT the Geordie Fantasy League itself, therefore any disputes with players scores, etc, must be raised with the premierleague.com website.

A complete rundown of the rules can be found here, but below is a summary of the scoring system used:

MONTHLY AWARDS

The manager of the month award is decided by adding up the total points scored by each team in a month, and the team with the most points wins the award.
The scores for each month can be found on the league page at premierleague.com.

PAYMENT RULES

You may join the Geordie Fantasy League and play for fun free of charge, but you will not receive any prize money at the end, or any other time of the season. It is recommended that, if you can afford it, you pay into the prize fund, and this gives you a chance to win prize money, as well as keeping your interest alive in the league if you know you have a chance to get something at the end of it.

WEEKLY PAYMENT

Due to managers falling behind with payments, and the fact that I don't see all managers regularly, weekly payment will not be offered from 2003/04 season.

SEASONAL PAYMENT

A one-off fee of £25 is required to be eligible to receive prizes at the end of the season.

Finally remember: the Geordie Fantasy League is a 100% payout league!
