Here we were a last-minute addition to a crowded bill on yet another Johnny Hero showcase night...
Headlining that night were The Skinflints, fronted by local lunatic Martin Corrigan, who performed naked save for a comedy fake leopardskin. This bold man even managed to break Nick's mic-stand, after "borrowing it" to perform various lewd Freddie Mercury-style antics.
Also appearing were innocent little punks Barney. who were quite traumatised by Nick playing Anarchy In the UK at them on his DX7 during the soundcheck.
Our set had two new songs, Glasshaus and Swept Up By Sunlight. The latter saw Stephen come out from behind his drum kit to play the bass riff, freeing David to get on with some serious crooning and white-noise generation.
