So our story begins when the Slime and his family are out on a picnic. A "Do-Gooder" and his sidekick come through the bushes only to discover this family of slimes, completely happy minding their own business. The "Do-Gooder" takes exception to this and slaughters the lot except for Slime. Naturally Slime is not too happy about the massacre of his family so decides he will become as evil as he can. To begin with he tries to lay siege to a town, but then a boy goes out to play discovers the slime and beats him into he ground. Unhappy with this progress he decides he will create an evil empire and take over the world. He calls his corporation "Monsters Inc."

Review

Presentation: 13/15
Well, the game looks fine and the map design was fine but there is alot
(not all) of RTP. Slimes are cool. Very cool.

Sound Effects: 3/5
While most was RTP, there was 2 or 3 non-RTP sounds effects there.
All-in-all it was fine and placed correctly.

Music: 6/8
Songs from Chrono Trigger, Castlevania (didn't expect that) and others
was quite nice, placed right, and sounded great. But, other then those,
the RTP's used.

Originality: 10/10
How many games do you play a slime bent on taking over the world!?
There is some original graphics (I think). Story was very original... In a
weird way...

Fun: 4/5
Yes, quite fun! Battles we not long which I really liked, then the
occasional battle with the 2 slimes which lasted a whole 4 or 5 messages.
Although it's all good, going through the forest and maze 3 times just
got a little boring...

Storyline: 23/25
See originality. Other then that you may find some events that can be
found in other games.

Graphics: 4/10
Mostly RTP... But there are some other graphics like the blue slime,
the HQ Builder and some maps. But it doesn't beat the RTP.

Script: 14/15
Yeah! This was very fun to read and won't get you bored. I did,
however, find misspellings like: mnions, but you may not even notice them!

Combat: 7/10
Basic Combat System. I really liked the speed as I've said before. The
monsters were mostly RTP but there was some others (was that from RPG
Dante for SNES?). There wasn't anything special like Steal skills or
unique attacks so it wasn't to entirely special.

Mini-Games/Dungeons: 3/10
Were there any in this demo? If there were, I missed them. Dungeons?
Was that a dungeon? If it was it wasn't much of a dungeon, but, you can't
give it a 0, there was 1 there...

Challenge: 5/10
Wasn't much of a challenge. Only enemies that will give you a problem
is too many of those gaurds. No bosses (and if there were any I surely
beat the heck out 'em or just skipped them.)

Extra for Joy: 3/5
I've never seen such an interesting game! Much deserved extra credit.

95/118

B+

Comment:
Good goin'! Keep it fun/ny and spell minions correct and it'll be a
great game.

7.9/10
