I was attracted by Paul Ferndale's service because of his fairly professional mail shot. A well presented A5 sheet with information
about his service, a couple of pages of testimonials, and a leaflet with a frequently asked questions, and an interview with a
subscriber.
The price tag was a little steep - £75 for a year, or £140 for two. Too much for an initial outlay, so I wrote off asking for a cheaper trial. I
was offered one month for £10 or 3 months for £25. I took the one month offer, and looked forward to receiving my first professional
tipster's advice. All this happened during the Australian soccer
season.
During the first four weeks there was one win, but this didn't even cover that week's stake. I did, however, take into account the fact
that it was the Australian soccer season, and so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. When I was offered another four weeks for
merely five pounds, I took it - not many people would admit that they had made such a mistake and then offer a discount next time
round.
The next four weeks were almost as disappointing. There was one week with a win of around £50 from a £10 stake, but apart from that
there was only one other winning week, but again, the winnings failed to cover the stake.
I didn't bother renewing my subscription. Paul Ferndale runs his business fairly well, and treated my very amiably, but, to be honest,
I wouldn't subscribe to him again. There was an overall loss shown, and none of his predictions were any great surprise.
