First Computer Club In Horley

5th Horley now run the only computer club of its kind in Horley. On Monday evenings anyone connected with the 5th can turn up and learn how to use computers.

One Monday we have an internet night, where you can come along and for 30 pence, you get internet connected for 20 minutes.

On the alternate Monday you can come along and learn how to use some of the Microsoft packages. Some of our cubs have already made their very own web sites. Within the next few weeks we will put up a page with all the web addresses on it so you can view them.

Membership costs just £5.00 a year and then £1.00 per visit thereafter. Not bad eh!!! 

A number of cubs, and a couple of scouts have already learnt to make a web page by attending the club, and have recently successfully uploaded them onto the internet. 

The cubs have also started linking with a bear den in Greenville, Texas. They are swapping pictures, e-mails and badges with each other, and they are already talking about visiting each other. More to follow
