Sand Reclamation Plants

Designed and built with the foundry environment in mind, these plants have a good reputation for performance and durability.  The range starts with the sub frame mounted Trojan Compact 1, which is a free standing, self contained plant with a capacity of 1 TPH, to our ED15 which is our high level Bob Cat loaded 15 TPH Plant.

Plants can be supplied to operate in a wide range of differing applications.

The range comprises: -

a)    Low level loading 1 - 9 TPH

b)    Integral shake out Decks (low level plants)

c)    Skirted sides for skip or Bob Cat loading

d)    Integral Vibratory Sand Elevators (Compact 1 / Compact 3)

e)    Separate vibratory elevators for VD3 / VD6 / and VD9 plants (VD Vertical Discharge)

f)    Three (3) stage screening on all plants

g)    Continuous ejection of oversize materials and small metallic's via final screen

h)   High level plants 5 - 15 TPH designed for Bob Cat loading or below floor level installation

I)    Long Bed Cold Sand Classifiers 1 - 15 TPH

j)    Hot Sand Cooler / Classifiers 1 - 20 TPH

k)    Pneumatic Sand Transporting Systems 1 - 20 TPH which can be Single or Multiple Reception

l)    Evaporative Water Cooling Towers c/w Pumps, Pipework and Valves

Thermal Sand Reclamation

Plants are supplied to process residual dry attrition reclaimed sand with throughputs of 250kg/hr, 50kg/hr, 1000kg/hr and 2000kg/hr.  Specifications for the plant can be varied according to the Resin system being utilized and the metals being cast into the sand moulds.

We have plants operating successfully in the UK and in Europe.  Both ferrous and non ferrous applications have been successfully engineered producing first class results on thermal reclaim sand analysis.

Plc controls allow precise operating conditions to be maintained which ensures constant through put and allows sand quality to be kept at its optimum.  Being fully alarmed the plant requires the minimum operator input and can be left in automatic operation during normal shift working patterns.
