my long term project, a mk III capri,1980,it was a 2 litre ghia, as seen in pictures, anyway its waiting for the floor cutting out, for the fitment of a chassis/rollcage so I can fit its new engine.. 7 litre's of pontiac V8, topped with a supercharger and running methanol, although for the drag strip, I plan to leave it looking as much original as it does in the photo's. |

She was bought about 6 months ago and is 72 1300L. She now runs a 1600GT lump, capri dics and struts, mk II 1600 ghia back axle, capri laser wheels, and a six clock dash amongst other things, she has had some minor welding on the passenger footwell, and the usual strut top repairs but apart from that is really clean. I am hoping to have her on the road very soon. I will run her as she is while i wait for a mate of mine to buy his girlfriend a new car so that i can inherit the 2.0L twin cam and 5 speed from her sierra! |

hi guys just a few pics of my past and present mk3 cortinas the pickup is now long gone but it started life as a 2.0 ltr, GT 4 door saloon it had a tuned 2.1 pinto in it (realy regret selling it) i will be building a new one soon. The white 2 door is a savage mk3 fitted with a 302ci 5.0ltr, ford v8 withfive speed box I sold it to my friend (another regretable sale) i may yet buy it back as it now has a blown head gasket. The blue one ismy latest baby it has a scorpio 2.9ltr,v6 and 4speed box it also has scorpio interiorand is my current daily driver . Our club the Nightmares has many modified fords from 105e anglia's with a 3.5ltr,v8 in to a mk1 granada slammed to the floor on merc rims but my car of choice is the mk3 cortina. Regards Mark (Nightmares Racing) |
