Friday's Jack Daniel's Dipping sauce recipe |
Jack Daniel's double shot glaze for pork or chicken
Ingredients :
- ½ cup Jack Daniel's whiskey
- 1¼ cups honey
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- ½ tspn black pepper, freshly ground
Preparation and Cooking Instructions
- Combine all ingredients; mix well. Serve as a sauce or glaze for grilled
chicken or pork. Makes 2 cups.
Jack Daniel's grilling sauce
Ingredients :
- ½ cup pineapple juice
- 3 tspn soy sauce
- 1½ tspn ginger
- ½ tspn garlic powder
- ¼ cup Jack Daniel's whiskey
Preparation and Cooking Instructions
- Combine all ingredients and mix well. Dip meat in sauce and place
on grill over hot coals. Grill to desired degree of doneness. Just before
meat is removed from grill, brush again with sauce. Makes enough for
8 servings.
Jack Daniel's Honey Mustard
Ingredients :
- ½ cup honey
- ½ cup dark vinegar
- ½ cup dark brown sugar, packed
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp prepared French mustard
- ½ cup Jack Daniel's whiskey
- 1 x 9 oz bottle horseradish
Preparation and Cooking Instructions
- Put honey, vinegar, sugar, eggs and flour into blender a few seconds
to blend at high speed until smooth.
- Transfer to a 2 qt saucepan. Cook on medium high whipping briskly
with whisk to prevent it from sticking to bottom of pan. It will thicken
just as it comes to a boil. Quickly add mustard and whiskey.
- Continue to cook and stir briskly only ½ minute. Remove from
heat. Add the horseradish.
- Beat well. Cool completely.
- Bottle and cap tightly. Can store refrigerated 6-8 weeks. Freezes
for months. Recipe can be halved.
Jack Daniel's Rib Glaze
Ingredients :
- 1 cup Jack Daniel's whiskey
- ½ cup dark brown sugar
- 1 cup catsup
- 1 tspn Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ cup vinegar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tspn dry mustard
- ¼ tspn black pepper
- ¼ tspn salt
Preparation and Cooking Instructions
- Combine all ingredients: Mix well. Brush ribs with a thin coating
of glaze and place on grill. Continue to baste when turning ribs. Makes
enough for 2 racks of 7 to 10 ribs each. Also great on chicken wings.
Jack Daniel's BBQ Sauce
Ingredients :
- ½ large onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 cups ketchup
- ¼ cup vinegar
- ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
- ½ cup brown sugar, packed
- ¾ cup molasses
- ½ tspn pepper
- ½ tbsp salt
- ¼ cup tomato paste
- 2 tspn liquid barbecue smoke
- ½ tspn Tabasco sauce, to taste
- ½ cup to 1 gallon Jack Daniel's whiskey
Preparation and Cooking Instructions
- Combine onion, garlic and bourbon in a 3 qt saucepan. Sauté
until onion and garlic are translucent, about 10 min. Flame if possible.
Add all remaining ingredients, bring to boil, then turn down mixture
to a medium simmer. Simmer for 20 min. stirring constantly. Run through
strainer if you want a smooth sauce. Makes 4 cups.
