Ingredients :
- ½ recipe tortilla
chips or 18 purchased tortilla chips
- 2 cups (6 oz) grated semisoft cheese, such as Monterey Jack
- 6 pickled jalapeño chilies, canned or homemade, cut into thin
rounds, stems discarded
Preparation and Cooking Instructions :
- Mound the chips on a microwave-safe plate. Sprinkle the cheese over
the chips and arrange the jalapeño slices on top. Microwave,
uncovered, on HIGH for 1½ minutes, or until the cheese
is melted. Serve immediately.
