Ingredients :
- 1½ lb ground venison
- 1 medium onion, finely diced
- ½ cup parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tspn each of ground pepper, 5 spice powder, and oregano
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- ¼ tspn cayenne pepper
- flour to dust
for sauce :
- 3 cups chunky spaghetti sauce, ready made
- 1 tbsp hot chili sauce, to taste
- 3 tbsp Chinese plum sauce
- ½ cup water
Preparation and Cooking Instructions
- To make meatballs, combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl
and mix well. Use wet hands to shape mixture into balls the size of
a large walnut. Dust in flour and brown in batches in a little oil.
Transfer to casserole dish.
- Combine sauce ingredients and pour over meatballs.
- Cover and bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes or microwave covered at 80%
power for 8-10 minutes, turning twice.
