Ingredients :

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cup pecan halves
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tspn paprika
  • 2 tspn powdered chili
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • ¼ cup cider vinegar
  • salt


Preparation and Cooking Instructions :

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Melt butter over medium heat in a large skillet. Add the pecans and sauté until lightly browned, about 3 minutes.
  3. Add the brown sugar and cook until caramelized.
  4. Stir in the paprika, chili powder and cumin.
  5. Add the vinegar and cook until all the liquid has evaporated. Season with salt.
  6. Spread the pecans on a cookie sheet and bake in an oven until crisp, about 3 to 5 minutes.
