Coat Length: Shorthair

Temperament: Active, inquisitive, will learn tricks quickly

Coat: Soft silky fine texture, hairs are lighter at the roots and darker at the tip

Colours: Ruddy, sorrel, blue, fawn, lilac, silver, silver sorrel, silver blue

Head: Rounded head, medium nose with a slight break, large almond-shaped slanted eyes (gold, green or hazel in colour) rimmed in black or dark brown, large ears pointed at the tips

Body: Medium sized cat with long, slender, muscular body, small oval shaped paws, medium length tapered tail, long slender legs give the impression of a cat being on tip-toe when standing

Grooming: Daily hand grooming to maintain shine and softness of the coat

Litter Size: Average 3-4 kittens per litter. Kittens are born with dark markings that they lose after a few months

Common Faults: Stocky body, spots and markings on the body, white on the neck, broken necklace marks around the throat
