Breed Profile

Coat Length: Longhair

Temperament: Extroverted, prefers company, affectionate, demands attention, athletic, intelligent, active, inquisitive

Coat: Relatively short coat compared to other longhairs, medium long fur without an undercoat, no ruff around the neck, fine silky texture

Colours: Same varieties as the Siamese

Head: Long tapering wedge head, sapphire blue eyes, long straight nose without a break, large pointed ears, medium sized almond shaped slanted eyes, fine wedge shaped muzzle, long slender neck

Body: Slender svelte body, well muscled, fine bones, medium fluffy tail, long slim legs, forelimbs shorter than hindlimbs, small oval shaped paws

Grooming: Regular combing - the shorter coat is less prone to matting than other longhairs

Litter Size: Three to four kittens

Common Faults: Non-blue or crossed eyes, presence of an undercoat, weak hindlimbs, albino nose
