Temperament: Devoted, affectionate, lively, playful

Coat: Dense finely textured fur, lustrous coat, medium length

Head: Slightly rounded wedge shaped head, short nose, large almond shaped eyes, large slightly pointed ears

Body: Medium length muscular body, medium length slender legs in proportion with the body, small oval paws, medium length tail tapers from a wide base

Grooming: Regular combing to remove dead hair

Common Faults: No spots, pointed nose, short tail, non-yellow or non-hazel eyes
