Coat: Short dense fur, short thick double coat

Head: Round broad head, short nose, large round eyes, well developed chin, medium sized ears rounded at the tips, prominent cheeks, jowly appearance, short thick neck

Body: Stocky body, broad chest, muscular body, powerful legs, forelimbs shorter than hindlimbs, round paws, hollow where the base of the tail should be (rumpy) or remnant of tail (stumpy)

Grooming: Regular brushing to maintain the silky coat and remove dead hair

Litter: Mating two tailless cats often results in malformed kittens that die before birth or soon after
