Breed Profile

Coat Length: Longhair

Temperament: Affectionate, gentle, tolerant, intelligent, extremely docile

Coat: Plush, silky coat, medium to long in length, longest around the neck, short thick fur on the forelimbs, medium to long thick feathery fur on the hindlimbs

Colours: Bicolour (seal, chocolate, lilac etc.) - pale body, dark markings on the mask (face), ears, tail, with a white stomach, Colourpoint - dark points, Mitted - dark points with white front paws

Head: Rounded wedge shaped head, medium length muzzle and nose, fully developed cheeks, full round chin, large round sapphire blue eyes set far apart, medium size ears rounded at the tip and tufted

Body: Large well-boned muscular body, long solid cat, medium legs, large round paws with feather tufts, long fluffy tail in proportion to body length

Grooming: Daily combing or brushing will keep the coat in good condition

Common Faults: Elongated muzzle, deformed tail, crossed eyes
