Coat Length: Shorthair

Temperament: Inquisitive, mischievous, energetic, strong personality, demands attention, highly intelligent, can be trained to walk on a lead and harness, highly vocal, devoted to its owner, given to fits of jealousy

Coat: Short soft fine fur, glossy, lies close to the body

Colours: Seal point, chocolate point, blue point, lilac point, tabby points, red point

Head: Large triangular head - long tapering wedge with long nose, medium sized almond-shaped slanted eyes of a brilliant sapphire colour, pointed muzzle, large ears pointed at the tips and open at the base

Body: Medium sized sleek slender body, fine bones, firm muscles giving an athletic appearance, long slim legs, hindlimbs slightly longer than forelimbs, small oval paws

Grooming: Twice weekly grooming to remove dead hairs, wipe coat with a damp chamois to make it shine

Common Faults: Non-blue eyes, malformed chin or tail, weak legs, white feet, crossed eyes
