Temperament: Inquisitive, active, loving, responsive

Coat: Medium-short soft shiny silky fur, lustrous, lies close to the body

Colours: Body colour should be rich, even and unmarked, shading to a lighter tone on the underside, distinct contrast between points and body colour

Head: Modified wedge head with a long nose, square muzzle, almond shaped slanted eyes, medium sized ears with oval shaped tips

Body: Medium sized slender body, well developed muscles, long slim legs, small oval shaped paws, long tail tapers to a slender tip

Grooming: Hand grooming will keep the coat clean and shiny, occasional combing will remove dead hair, a damp chamois will make the coat shine

Common Faults: Kinked tail
