Cat Coat Colours
The Basics
Cats come in all shapes, sizes and colours (colors).
Cat fanciers use the term "red" for colours that people often call "orange" or "ginger". The term "blue" is used for "grey" cats.

Bicolours (Bicolors)
A bicolour (bicolor) is a cat that is half white and half another colour.
A harlequin is a mostly white cat with two or three patches of colour.
A van is an almost white cat with colour patches only on the head and tail.
