NOTICE TO MARINERS

BURNTISLAND - PETTYCUR
ROCK ARMOUR STOCKPILES
Reference: Admiralty Chart No. 735
1. In connection with repairs to the railway embankment, the contractor has deposited
stockpiles of rock armour at the undernoted locations:
1) 56° 03.45' N 03° 12.13'W
2) 56° 03.60'N 03° 12.10'W
2. The stockpiles dry at Low Water and at Mean High Springs, project approximately 1 metre above the water.
3. This area is only accessible for small craft when tidal conditions permit. Those in charge of such craft are warned of the above obstructions and are advised to give the area a wide berth.
4. Plans are currently being made to remove the stockpiles. A further Notice to Mariners will be issued when the area is clear.
5. Status of Previously Published Notices:
Nos. 6 and 7 of 1998 remain in force
No. 13 of 1999 remains in force
No. l of 2000 remains in force
Nos. 10 and 11 of 2001 remain in force
Nos. 1, 2 and 3 of 2002 remain in force
